General Information:
South Seas Island Resort (formerly South Seas Plantation Resort), a 330-acre full-service
resort on Captiva Island and 34 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport, has
re-opened following a property-wide, multi-million dollar renovation.
Resort amenities include the tennis courts, multiple pools, beach access, and the gulf-front
Executive Golf Course. New Educational Camps for kids through teens offers activities and
educational programs day and night.
All guestrooms and villas feature West Indies decor with bamboo and teak furniture, lavish
bedding, and spacious bathrooms.
A daily Resort Fee of 12.50 plus tax per person, per day in not included in the room rate. The
fee includes unlimited local and phone calls, guestroom High Speed Internet, daily bottled
water (2), pool & beach Ambassador-Sunset Beach and South Beach: includes personalized pool
amenities and services such as towels and lounge chairs poolside and beach towels, beach
chairs and umbrellas, daily trolley service throughout the resort and to Andy Rosse Lane,
fitness center access, tennis center access, daily entertainment, access to History/Nature
House, participation in special resort activities: Movie Night, Cooking Classes with the Chef,
etc., weekday New York Times Newspaper delivery, self parking and CATV with free movie channels
(2 HBO's).
