The Colby Days Inn is a small 45-unit hotel located approximately two miles from the Colby
Shalz Field Municipal Airport. For the recreationally inclined, there is a heated indoor pool
and hot tub. Many restaurants are within walking distance and the hotel is close to many
factory outlet malls and next door to a large, corporate variety store. The hotel also offers
ice/vending machines, 24-hour front desk, free parking, and free local calls. Pets are allowed
with a fee. 
 Colby is a full service community with a college, hospital, medical center, KSU Research
Extension Farm, and a courthouse. They have a sunflower processing plant, television station,
radio station, and many retail businesses. The Days Inn is less than a mile from Prairie
Museum of Art and History, housing the biggest barn in KS. 
 Each room has air-conditioning, AM/FM clock radio, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and cable
television. Microwaves and refrigerators are available at the front desk. Non-smoking and
handicapped-accessible rooms are available.
