General Information:
The Esplendor Resort at Rio Rico sits on 56,000 acres and is approximately 15 miles from Mexico
and 55 miles from Tucson International Airport. Within a 10-mile radius of the resort are
lakes, state parks, ancient Indian ruins, and missions from the days of the conquistadors.
Guests can tour Arizonas wine country, ghost towns, old mines, and the Tubac Artist Colony.
Resort (seasonal) amenities include the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Senior golf course,
horseback riding, tennis facilities, culinary tours to Mexico, and a 6,000-square-foot fitness
facility. The Country Club offers a pro-shop, driving range, putting green, restaurant, and
lounge. The tennis center has four newly resurfaced lighted courts for day and evening play.
San Cayetano Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Calabasas Bar & Grill
features daily drink specials and late night menu.
All rooms feature balconies or terraces, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards,
