General Information:
The Sea Ranch Lodge offers rustic luxury in Northern California's scenic Sonoma County. Perched
high on a bluff top, the lodge is approximately three and a half hours' drive from San
Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. Created by Charles Moore, an American Institute of
Architect's Gold Medal Award winner, and landscape architect Lawrence Halprin, the Sea Ranch
capitalizes on its dramatic setting and forms an alliance of architecture and nature that has
captivated generations of guests. Discover the flora and fauna of the sea, with direct access
to five secluded beaches located within the Sea Ranch community. A trail and stairway offer
direct access to Black Point Beach located within 200 yards of the lodge.
Guests receive a complimentary breakfast with their room rate. The Sea Ranch Lodge Restaurant
is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Resting high on a cliff, each table in the
dining room offers a dramatic panorama of the ever-changing Pacific Ocean. The menu focuses on
locally caught seafood, locally grown produce, Californian herbs, and regional ingredients. The
wine cellar offers a variety of excellent choices to compliment your meal. The hotel's bar
serves a bar menu and a variety of beverages. The hotel also offers concierge services, the
Village Store, and multi-function space (corporate retreats, weddings, etc. The lodge staff
can help guests arrange trips in the surrounding area, including wine tours and kayaking
rentals.
There are 20 rooms at the lodge. All rooms are non-smoking. Rooms with fireplaces, hot tubs,
and separate sleeping/living areas are available. Please note that there are no TVs, except in
the two rooms with hot tubs. Most rooms feature ocean views. Plush goose-down comforters grace
the king- or queen-sized beds. All rooms are equipped with hairdryers, irons and ironing
boards, telephones, and coffeemakers. In-room massage appointments are also available.
