General Information:

   The Wisp Mountain Resort Hotel and Conference Center in beautiful Deep Creek Lake, Maryland,
has completed its 2.7 million dollar renovation.   Located at the base of the Wisp Ski Area,
Garrett CountyÂs largest resort hotel features enhanced comfort, guest accessibility and
ÂState of the ArtÂ technology.   Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a newly
designed lobby featuring open spacious areas, warm lighting and relaxed sitting areas complete
with over-sized chairs and couches to provide the feel and comfort of the 'grand Âol lodges'
of yesteryear. The living room quality and style of these areas offer a wonderful setting for
informal socializing, as well as, the prefect place to curl up with a good book. All the newly
designed and renovated public areas, corridors and lodge rooms feature refreshing color tones
and furnishings that invite lingering stays.   The totally redone lodge rooms include new
carpet, wall treatments, lighting, beds, bedspreads, drapes, desks, tables and chairs.
Additionally further enhancements include electronic lock systems, microwave ovens,
refrigerators, irons with ironing boards, hair dryers, on-demand movies and soon to be
installed high speed, wireless Internet capabilities.   As an important part of the Hotel, the
meeting rooms have not been neglected either. The addition of new carpeting and wall treatments
complement the newly enhanced audio / visual equipment and hi-speed internet capabilities found
in all of the meeting space and further support the propertyÂs commitment to the meeting and
conference segments of the market.   Wisp Resort Hotel & Conference is part of the Wisp at Deep
Creek Mountain Resort and lies in the heart of the Allegheny Mountain Range of Garrett County,
the largest and western most county in Maryland. Located between a 1 and 3 hour drive from
some of the Mid-Atlantic regions largest metropolitan areas, Wisp Resort Hotel and Conference
Center provides the perfect location for a family get-away or organizationÂs meeting and

From the I 695 beltway pick up I 70 West toward Frederick/ Hancock, MD. Stay on I 70 through Frederick onto Hancock, MD. Then look for a left exit for I 68 West to Cumberland, MD. Stay on I 68 through Cumberland and look for Exit 14A- RT. 219 South. Follow Rt. 219 to McHenry. Make right at Exxon station onto Sang Run Road, make left onto Marsh Hill Road. Wisp Mountain Resort is on the right.

Pittsburgh via Morgantown WV
If you choose to come via Morgantown begin by picking up I79 South to I 68. Next, pick up I 68 East toward Cumberland, MD. Look for Exit 4 at Friendsville, MD. Follow Rt. 42 South until you reach its end at Rt. 219 South. Follow Rt. 219 South to McHenry. Make right at Exxon station onto Sang Run Road, make left onto Marsh Hill Road. Wisp Mountain Resort is on the right.

Washington DC
From the I 495 beltway pick up I 270 North toward Rockville/ Frederick, MD. From Frederick exit onto I 70 West toward Hancock, MD. Then look for a left exit for I 68 West to Cumberland, MD. Stay on I 68 through Cumberland and look for Exit 14A - Rt. 219 South. Follow Rt. 219 to McHenry. Make right at Exxon station onto Sang Run Road, make left onto Marsh Hill Road. Wisp Resort is on the right.
