The Horizon Casino Resort is located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe with 539 spacious rooms
and suites and just 50 minutes from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. The Horizon is just
a free ski shuttle ride away from the best ski resorts in the country. Within walking distance
are the Gondola at Heavenly and more restaurants and entertainment in the Village. 

The property has the largest outdoor swimming pool (open May-October) in Lake Tahoe. One can
warm up in one of three giant hot tubs on a chilly winter evening or after a great day on the
slopes. Outdoor hot tubs are open year round. The Horizon is a full service resort offering
three great restaurants and daily/nightly entertainment for all ages. It offers buffet to
gourmet. Josh's offers fine dining with great Regional and American cuisine and excellent
service in a relaxing atmosphere and setting. The Four Seasons is open 24 hours a day. The
Town Square Buffet has chefs who have created an array of American and International cuisine.
The resort offers 24-hour room service and front desk staff. A full fitness center, shopping,
cigar shop, Starbucks Coffee, and salon are also available. It offers parking facilities and
bell service to all guests, as well as, a concierge to assist with activity planning. Daily
airport shuttle service available for drop off and pick up right at the front doors for a
minimal fee. Ski rental and storage right on property and free ski shuttle service are
available. 

The rooms consist of one-king bed or two-doubles and offer either pool, mountain or lake views
(subject to availability). The rooms are equipped with color TV, telephone, voicemail,
high-speed Internet, and data port. The amenities also include private bath, table and chairs
complete the standard and deluxe rooms. Handicap accessible rooms are also available upon
request. 

The guests are charged a daily resort fee.
