Originally built to accommodate major league baseball players for spring training, the
Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort is a deluxe golf resort situated approximately 52 miles
from the Phoenix International Airport and 56 miles from Tucson International Airport. The
Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino is about 24 miles from the property. 

Hotel amenities include limited room service, complimentary parking, safe deposit box,
concierge, 24-hour front desk, laundry/valet services, extra pillows and blankets in each
room. Guests may also enjoy croquet, horseshoes, volleyball, the unique baseball bat-shaped
pool, and baseball-shaped Jacuzzi. Onsite dining and drinks are available at Legends
Restaurant and Dukes Lounge live entertainment on selected nights. For guests who wish to
golf, this world-class course features upgraded holes with golf cart paths and new front tees.


Each Tower room features, exterior corridor access and two elevators in the front lobby,
sliding glass doors to furnished balcony with view of the golf course, granite countertops,
wireless high-speed Internet access (surcharge), shower or shower/tub combination, cotton
robes, Aveda toiletries, hair dryer, Iron/ironing board, 27-inch digital TV and DVD players
with complimentary movies, coffeemakers with complimentary Starbucks coffee. 

Our Courtyard guest rooms are not in the hotel tower. Each features a Garden view, exterior
corridor access (no elevator) in a two story building. Table and two chairs, 27-inch digital
TV, Aveda toiletries, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, shower only, dial up Internet,
coffeemaker with complimentary Starbucks coffee, Courtyard rooms have not been renovated and
offer basic, motel-type accommodations. 

The hotel allows pets in Courtyard rooms only. The pet fee is 25 USD per day and is
non-refundable.
