The rebirth of La Costa Resort & Spa will remind everyone of its storied reputation as the
first true spa resort in the country. In 2003, La Costa Resort & Spa underwent an expansive
multi-million renovation. The results include: completely renovated guest rooms, a new lobby
and registration area, an expansive Athletic Club featuring aerobics classes and a pilates
studio, the new family pool, retail shops, and the new Spa La Costa. This brand new 42,000
square foot spa facility includes 42 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a
cafe, private spa suites, and the Yamaguchi Salon at La Costa. In addition, La Costa is home
to the Chopra Center for Well Being, founded by renowned philosopher and health expert Deepak
Chopra. 

La Costa also offers two PGA Championship 18 hole golf courses, four swimming pools, and a
tennis facility offering clay and hard court surfaces. Each year, the resort plays host to the
World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play and the Acura Classic Tennis Tournament. Enjoy
Legends Restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner with scenic views of the golf course. Splash
Pool Bar and Cafe is open on the weekends year-round for a tropical beverage or pool-side
