The Refuge Motor Inn sits within walking distance of the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge

and five minutes from the Assateague Island National seashore.   Nestled in whispering pines,

the Refuge Inn includes a sauna,hot tub, year round pool, fitness room,bike rentals and our

very own Chincoteague Ponies.  Wooded picnic areas, complete with hibachis, allow relaxed

cookouts while children enjoy the safe, spacious playground.   In addition to biking around

Chincoteague Island and Assateague on a rental bike, guests can visit with the ponies in the

inn*s own pasture. Swimmers enjoy year-round fun in the indoor/outdoor heated pool.

From Route 13, follow Route 175 to Chincoteague Island. After crossing the bridge to the island, turn left onto Main Street. Then turn right onto Maddox Blvd. The Inn is located just before the Assateague bridge at 7058 Maddox Blvd.
