Dating back to the 13th century, Hotel Atlantic Palace is located within walking distance of
the cathedral and approximately three miles from Florence Airport. This location is also
within walking distance of Cappelle Medicee and the San Lorenzo Market. The hotel dates back
to 1200, as the Teutonic Knights lived there, but was enriched during the Renaissance, when
used as a nunnery.
