Restaurant / Dining Information - -The Award-Winning Windsor Grand Dining Room allows guests
and visitors to savor a sophisticated yet unpretentious dining experience in traditional
Southern surroundings. A Southern buffet luncheon is served Monday through Friday, and on
Sundays a special buffet is offered. Gourmet dinner is served every night, except for Sundays.
The chef*s cuisine reflects specialties from around the country, as well as favorites from the
local region. At the Grand Dining Room guests will experience a fine-dine and relaxing
ambiance, with great food and wines.     The Grand Dining Room is also a wonderful example of
Victorian elegance. The tile floor is the original floor from when the hotel was first opened,
and it is so well-restored that the local historical society will not allow the floor to be
covered with wall-to-wall carpeting. The furnishings are reproductions, including the
wrought-iron footed tables, reflecting the style of the Victorian period. Due to its beauty
and splendor, the Grand Dining Room is often the site of weddings and receptions.    - The
Quality Inn Hillside Cafe & Family Restaurant, located on HWY 19 S, offers a delicious
Southern  Buffet for lunch Monday-Friday and on Sundays. The menu includes fried chicken,
cheese grits, Southern style vegetables, salads and delicious desserts. The Restaurant is also

The convivial Floyd*s Pub is a quaint neighborhood pub overlooking Victorian downtown Americus.

The Pub was named after an employee that worked at the Windsor for 40 years. Guests can sip

Mint Juleps while rocking peacefully on the famous front verandah, take advantage of the

wireless high-speed Internet access or just sit and observe the happenings from the

golden-oak-trimmed, three-story atrium lobby.    The Quality Inn Bar & Lounge is open from

Monday through Saturday, and features DJ, karaoke and live bands playing all kinds of music,

activities in Americus, golfing is one of the most popular.  Americus has four different golf

Veterans State Park:  Located in 30 miles from Americus, in nearby Cordele. Established as a

memorial to U.S. veterans, this park features a museum with aircraft, armored vehicles,

uniforms, weapons, medals and other items from the Revolutionary War through the Gulf War. The

SAM Shortline Excursion Train runs through the park on its way from Cordele to Plains, allowing

riders to see an antique telephone museum, Habitat for Humanity's Global Village, President

Jimmy Carter's boyhood farm and other attractions. An 18-hole golf course and pro shop, along

with 8,600-acre Lake Blackshear, make this one of Georgia's most popular state parks.

From Atlanta: Take I-75 South from Atlanta. Exit at Exit 127 and follow 26S into Montezuma. Take Route 49 South past Andersonville and into Americus. Drive into Americus to Jackson Street and turn left. You will see the Windsor on your left. From Atlanta Airport parking lot: -Follow signs to Riverdale Rd. -There is a traffic light at dead end into Riverdale Rd.... Must turn right or left -Turn Left at traffic light -Follow Riverdale Rd. about 1.5 miles to I-285. Stay on left hand lane, about 2.5 miles, to I-75 South -Follow I-75 South toward Macon (75 miles) -Follow I-475 (10 miles) at Macon for a shortcut to bypass Macon traffic -I-475 rejoins I-75 South just south of Macon -Continue on I-75 South to Perry (25 miles) -Take exit #135 (Montezuma/Marshallville) on the south side of Perry -Go up exit ramp, stop and turn Right (heading west-southwest) on GA 127. Follow signs to Montezuma -About 3 miles from the interstate, the road forks: Montezuma to the left, Marshallville to the right - Go Left - GA 224. Follow GA 224 to a stop sign at GA 26 (about 25 miles) -Turn Right on GA 26. You will drive through Montezuma and Oglethorpe (through 2 traffic lights) on GA 26 for about 5 miles -GA 26 crosses GA 49 southwst of Oglethorpe. You will come to a stop sign at GA 49 -Turn left on GA 49 and follow about 23 miles to Americus -Entering Americus, you will see a gas station on the left and a Wendy's Hamburguer shop on the right -Continue past Wendy's, you will see Sumter Regional Hospital on your right. Continue on Forsyth Street (a one way street) in the left hand lane to the fourth traffic light (Lee street). Take a left (Citizen's Bank will be on the left hand corner). The Windsor Hotel parking lot will be on the right before you get to the traffic light at the intersection of Lee and Lamar Streets.
