General Information:
The Anantara Resort Golden Triangle allows one to relax in a hotel. While here, learn the
skills of a Mahout elephant driver at the resort*s own elephant camp. The Golden Triangle is a
focal point in Asia where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet the Mekhong and Ruak rivers.
Standing high above the dawn mist in 160 acres of tropical gardens is the Anantara Resort.
Guests can immerse themselves in the spa while soaking up a spectacular view and experience
the ancient art of Thai massage. One can dine on the resort speciality, northern Thai cuisine,
or Italian food at the intimate Baan Dahlia restaurant. Guests can take their Thai cuisine a
step further at the Anantara cooking school, or learn to be a mahout at the resort elephant
camp. This hotel was built in 1991 and remodeled in 2003.
