The Fripp Island Resort is a private island located off the South Carolina coast, approximately
55 miles from Hilton Head Airport. The resort has three miles of shoreline and is made up of
homes, villas, and cottages around the island. 
 Hotel amenities include the two 18-hole championship golf courses (including lessons and pro
shop), eight clay tennis courts (or two hard courts), beach services and beach club (for
cabana umbrellas and chairs, boogie boards, kayaks, beach volleyball, etc), Fripp Islands
Activity Center (children's programs), and Fripp Island Marina. The Excursions Department
offers a myriad of ways to best see the island by bicycles, scooter, wave runner, pontoon
boat, kayak, or skiff. The Olympic Pool is located next to the Beach Club and adjacent to
Fripp Island shops, exercise room, Lil Dipper (ice cream), and Island Supreme (pizza). The
Adult Pool overlooks the ocean, near the Sandbar (live music). A lagoon-style pool meanders
through a maze of carved caves, waterfalls, and cascading flowers at Veranda Beach. The
complex also boasts a bubbling spa and two other pools. For meals and drinks, there are five
dining venues (two seafood restaurants, three delis, pizza, and poolside snack bar) and three
bars. 
 Accommodations range from oceanfront/view homes to beach bungalows. All are equipped the
electric kitchens, microwaves, dishwashers, small appliances, washers/dryers, central
heat/air-conditioning, cable TV, VCRs, voicemail, and modem lines.
