The Sanctuary is located on Kiawah Island.  Kiawah has 10 miles of beach
and is a barrier island of the coast of Charleston, SC. Kiawah is about 20
miles to the south of Downtown historic Charleston.

From Charleston Intl Airport Follow the road from the airport Intl Blvd until you take I526 West toward Savannah.Follow I526 for 8 to 10 miles to the first stoplight. Turn right at the stoplight and continue 100 yards and merge onto Hwy 17 South to Savannah. Proceed for 5 miles on Hwy 17 South and turn left at the Intersection of Hwy 17 and Main Rd there is a Burger King on the corner. Follow Main Rd straight for 19 miles to Kiawah Island. NOTE/Main Road becomes Bohicket Road when Cross over Maybank Hwy or Hwy 700 which is at the second stoplight Turn left into the resort at the sign and follow the causeway along until you come to the security gate.
