south, at the casino.  Moonstone Grill 4 miles south, on Moonstone Beach.  Fine dining with
the locals in the know.  Seascape at the Pier - Breakfast, lunch and dinner at this popular
and scenic restaurant.  Trinidad Bay Eatery - Try the blackberry pie and other favorites at
this traditional locale.

beneath the towering redwood trees near your cabin.    We are the closest lodging to Redwood

National Park. The tallest tree in the world is 18 miles away.  Trinidad Harbor offers

Party/sportfishing boats,  with good fishing and crabbing, and a generous summer Salmon fishing

season. Sea kayaking rentals, lessons and guided tours are offered.  Many great beaches nearby

for strolling, agate and driftwood hunting, and romantic sunsets. Take a horseback ride through

the redwood forest.

To find the Emerald Forest take the Trinidad Exit of California Highway 101, on the west side (Chevron station) of the interchange, take the frontage road North (Patricks Point Drive) for 1/2 mile North to the Emerald Forest. The Trinidad exit of California HWY 101 is 23 miles north of Eureka, CA, 300 miles north of San Francisco, and approx 400 miles south of Portland, Oregon. Redwood National Park is located 17 miles North of the Emerald Forest of Trinidad on HWY 101.
