General Information:

Bad Rock B and B is 14 years old. It has won several awards and has a great repeat business.
Its owners are world travelers with medical science backgrounds. They know what travelers
want.Glacier National Park is 15 minutes away. Ideal setting for touring the park. Air
conditioning in all rooms. None in the park accommodations. We feature local information and
arrange for hiking, skiing, horseback riding and rafting in the park. Free use of bear spray,
binoculars, rain gear and maps for guests. 95PCT of our guests in the summer are here to visit
Glacier National Park.For golfing, 9 courses are available within a 20 minute drive. Golf
packages are available.For Skiers, Big Mountain Ski Resort is 20 minutes to the base or free
shuttle to ski shuttle bus. Blacktail Ski Resort is 30 minutes to the base.For Art and Museum
buffs, Big Fork and Kalispell with dozens of galleries are 20 minutes away. Whitefish with its
ski village atmosphere is only 15 minutes.Excellent dining is available in all 4 towns of
Flathead valley.Back Rock B and B has both the traditional bed and breakfast setting with 3
rooms in the main house. 2 beautiful hand built cabins are also available with private baths.
These cabins are not rustic from the sense of amenities or size. Each has vaulted ceilings and
a large sitting area with table. Front and rear porches for sitting outside and viewing the
mountains and surrounding valley. Private entrance to each cabin room so late arrivals or
early departures are no problem.The rooms in the main house each have a balcony. Columbia
Suite has a private entrance from its private deck area. They all have private bathrooms.A
common room with satellite TV, stereo, DVD and other entertainment is open daily until 10 pm.
A piano and guitars along with games and cards are available as well in the common area. An
open bar is available for our 21 and older guests. Free soda and water are also available.The
FOOD. We serve a minimum 3 course breakfast with fresh fruit dish to start, a hot 2nd course
and a fresh baked dessert. Many choose to wrap up the dessert to take hiking with them.

Hotel Description:

Bad Rock B and B is set on 10 acres of the Flathead Valley just outside
Columbia Falls, MT. It is in a rolling farmland setting with no traffic or
city noise. Deer, wild turkey and pheasants are plentiful in and around the
property. One can walk to the Flathead River in 10 minutes. Bike riding
along country roads or a stroll through rural Montana is just outside the
door. Mountain views surround every direction with the base of the Swan
Mountains to the east, Big Mountain Ski Resort to the north and Blacktail
Ski Resort to the South.

St. Mary Lake Suite / Macdonald Lake Sui(Standard Room): Private log cabin suite. Two queen beds hand made from lodgepole pine logs. Two vanities and 2 person shower. Hardwood floors and hand hewn log walls. Gas log fireplace. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Large dining Table. Private entrances front and back. Front porch with bench. Front view is Swan Mountains. Back deck with patio chairs. Back view is Big Mountain Ski Resort and property trees.

Avalanche Lake Suite / Hidden Lake Suite(Standard Room): Private log cabin suite. King bed hand made from lodgepole pine logs. Large vanity 2 person shower. Hardwood floors and hand hewn log walls. Gas log fireplace. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Game Table. Private entrances front and back. Front porch with bench. Front view is Swan Mountains. Back deck with patio chairs. Back view is Big Mountain Ski Resort and property trees.

Big Mountain(Standard Room): Private bedroom on the upper level, overlooking the garden and Bad Rock Junction. A private west-facing balcony, has spectacular sunset views over Big Mountain Ski Resort. Queen bed, European decor with hardwood floor and private bathroom with a tub / shower combination.

Columbia Mountain Suite(Standard Room): Private bedroom on the upper level, overlooking the Swan Mountains. A private east-facing balcony, with outside entrance, has spectacular sunset views over Columbia Mountain Peak. Two room suite with queen bed, and sitting area with daybed. Asian decor and private bathroom with shower / tub combination.

Blacktail Mountain(Standard Room): Private bedroom on the lower level, overlooks the garden and Bad Rock Junction. Queen bed, sitting area, hardwood floor and private bath with shower.

FCA Airport
From FCA. North -Left- from airport road on HWY 2 North. At 4 miles HWY. 2 turns right at a signal. Follow HWY 2 thru Columbia Falls - 4.3 miles. Turn right -South- on HWY 206 towards Big Fork. Go 2.6 miles to Bad Rock Drive. Turn right on Bad Rock Dr. and go 1 mile. At stop sign go straight. First drive on left after stop sign.

Kalispell
Highway 93 becomes Main Street upon entering Kalispell. Continue north on Main, where there are a number of traffic lights, to the major intersection of Main and Idaho. Idaho is also Highway 2. The directional sign roads "Columbia Falls / West Glacier". Turn right onto Idaho / Highway 2 and go cast 2 miles, to the next major intersection, staying in the right lane. This intersection is confusing. DO NOT follow the directional signs reading "Columbia Falls / West Glacier". Stay in the right lane without turning and go straight through the intersection. The road now becomes Highway 35 and the directional sign reads "Bigfork". Stay on Highway 35 for 6 miles. Take HWY 206 North, left turn. There is Woody's Conoco Service Station at this junction. Go North on HWY 206 for 7.6 miles. There are mile markers along the highway. Look for the Bad Rock B and B sign and the blue Market Pottery sign on the left side of the road. Turn left onto Bad Rock Drive and go .8 miles. At the stop sign go straight across. Bad Rock Bed and Breakfast's driveway is 100 yards past the stop sign on the left.
