The Carson Valley Motor Lodge (this is not the Carson Valley Inn) is a 75 room facility,
located one block north of the main casino building, on the grounds of the Carson Valley Inn
Hotel/Casino/RV Resort. The Motor Lodge was built in 1993. Check-in for the Motor Lodge is in
a historic red brick registration building. Built in 1926, this cheerfully restored house
offers a sun room for relaxing and reading, and a fireside sitting area. The Carson Valley
Motor Lodge offers park-at-your door convenience. Exterior entry to all rooms and just two
stories combine for easy room access. The facility is next door to a modern convenience store
-The Carson Valley Market- and just a three-minute walk to the main Carson Valley Inn complex.
Motor Lodge guests have full access to the Pool/Spa/Fitness Facility in the main hotel. Access
is with your room key.

is our 24-hour coffee shop restaurant located on the casino floor near the Gift Shop. Katie's
comfortable garden atmosphere, generous menu selections, and value-packed specials combine to
make it a favorite place for locals, hotel and RV guests, and folks just passing through.

From Northern California- Take Interstate 80 into Reno. Take Highway 395 south. You will go through Carson City, home of the state's capitol. 15 miles south of Carson City Highway 395 curves to the left as it goes into Minden. The Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge is on the left about one-quarter mile after this curve. From the Sacramento Area- Take Highway 50 into South Lake Tahoe. About one-half mile after you go onto the Nevada side, make a right at Kingsbury Grade /Highway 207/. Take Kingsbury over the mountain and into the Carson Valley. There is a stop sign at the bottom of the grade. After stopping, go straight approximately 3 miles to a traffic light at Highway 88. Make a left and take Highway 88 about 2 miles until it dead ends on Highway 395. Make a right on Highway 395 and you will see the Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge about one-quarter mile on your left. From the South Bay Area and Central California- Take Highway 88 out of the Stockton area and continue through Jackson, across the mountain, and into the Carson Valley. Highway 88 dead ends on Highway 395. Make a right on Highway 395 and you will see the Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge about one-quarter mile on your left. From Lake Tahoe's North Shore- Take Highway 28 towards the South Shore. When you get to Highway 50, make a left and come down over the mountain. Highway 50 intersects with Highway 395 at the bottom of the grade. Make a right on Highway 395 and continue south approximately 10 miles. Highway 395 curves to the left as it goes into Minden. The Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge is on the left about one-quarter mile after this curve. From the South Shore of Lake Tahoe- One-half mile after you go onto the Nevada side, make a right at Kingsbury Grade /Highway 207/. Take Kingsbury over the mountain and into the Carson Valley. There is a stop sign at the bottom of the grade. After stopping, go straight approximately 3 miles to a traffic light which is Highway 88. Make a left and take Highway 88 about 2 miles until it dead ends on Highway 395. Make a right on Highway 395 and you will see the Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge about one-quarter mile on your left. From the Reno Airport- Exit from the airport and follow the signs to get on Highway 395 south /Carson City/. You will go through Carson City, 15 miles south of Carson City Highway 395 curves to the left as it goes into Minden. The Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge is on the left about one-quarter mile after this curve. Total driving time from Reno airport is approximately 50 minutes.

Areas Served: The Carson Valley consists of Minden, Gardnerville and Genoa, and is situated 20 minutes east of Lake Tahoe, and 50 minutes south of Reno. No matter where you are coming from, the drive to the Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge is scenic and enjoyable. Check-
