Peninsula, at the convergence of the Wishkah and Chehalis Rivers. Aberdeen is one of the most

congestion, excellent water, clean air, and dozens of outdoor activities for everyone to

see attractions include the Grey Harbor Center for the Performing Arts, the Aberdeen Museum of
History, Grays Harbor Historical Seaport, the Polson Museum, the Westport Maritime Museum and
Twin Harbors State Park. Aberdeen is the homeport of the tall ship Lady Washington, a
reproduction of a smaller vessel used by the explorer Captain Robert Gray, which was featured
in the films Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and Pirates of the
Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Aberdeen is also the birthplace of musician Kurt Cobain.
